We are Obsessed With this Retro Dress

We have two obsessions right now. The first is Lola Blossom. This amazing, amazing boutique makes retro-inspired dresses that master the flirty, sexy fun of the thirties, forties and fifties. The second obsession is this retro blue polka-dot dress from them. We must have it!

And we must have nails to match it! The Seeing Spots Nail Art Kit includes the perfect shades of blue to match and a dotting tool to get the look.

If you can’t go retro with the dress, do it on your nails!

I’m sorry that its been a bit quite on the nail front but weak, chippy, splitty nails really put you off from trying new designs - until Essie first base base coat!! I love this stuff! 3 days and nails are still pretty decent :) Colours - Essie super bossa nova & opi the one that got away

It’s my favorite day of the week… TUTORIAL TUESDAY!!!!! Make sure you read ALLLLL the directions. Here’s the step-by-step for this week’s Vintage Valentine look: _ 1) place hair in a high ponytail, leaving out the area where your bangs would be 2) separate bang area into three subsections 3) tease each subsection at the base near the scalp 4) roll each subsection to create a “victory roll” and secure with bobby pins (make sure to hide the pins!) 5) place ponytail into a loop bun (similar to how most girls would to go work out or wash their face) 6) pin down the bun however you’d like, making sure the hair looks full 7) take bandana or head tie and place it at the base of the back of your head 8) bring sides of the bandana/ head tie up to the front and tie in a knot 9) make any adjustments you need and you’re finished! by heidimariegarrett http://instagr.am/p/VoqLaRmVB8/

This awesome person made these awesome nerd OPI lacquer sets, and I think they’re pretty awesome.

Incase anyone didn’t know, my nail polish painting is becoming a fast obsession. It’s weird, but. I love it. xD

I thought these were real for a minute and got excited, then realised that they were photoshop mock ups. It would be so cool if they were for real :)
